So uhh.....Does anyone know anything about the portal that was said to be made. Like any information you are allowed to give out would be nice. interesting advice.... but i think a little pressure on the mods wont hurt! a portal would be a huge improvement to the site. does anyone remember how long it took for the FA portal to get up?

When did FluidAnims itself go up? It's entirely possible that the new SP portal has already been in development for longer than FA existed.

I developed the FA portal in about 2 weeks to a month total. I started it while working a full time job, and later finished it working on it for 6 hours a day after quitting my full time job. I designed and programmed it from scratch by myself.

I've been keeping tabs on SP's portal's progress and I do know that there is at least a beta floating around somewhere, but I'm told that it's no where near a finished product as of yet.

I've never seen one of these "portal" things you speak of.

I don't want to be mean but

We know that SP's portal has been in "development" for YEARS, I don't want a super awesome portal, just one to post my animations and get fast feedback, a rate and stuffs like that as Jeff said it didn't take soooo much time to make FA portal; and damn that was the best portal I've seen.

The people from FA (I include myself).... We left our forums, community, portal, threads, good memories to come here at SP, I don't think it's sooooo hard to give us at least a portal, no, not even that, AT LEAST tell us or keep us informed about what's going on with the portal.

And yea like you said, I don't even want a big fancy fancy portal. A crappy one would be good for me. :D
