So lately when I try to animate I just cant do aynthing good. If I try to smooth it's too slow, if I want to make it fast it's too fast. I was looking at a lot of tutorials, but none of them actaully helped me, so I was wondering if there is anyone better than me, that can help me.

Aww man I would teach you, but I'm so busy
But, to try to help, ask me any question you want :3
And don't worry if your anI'm is too fast or too slow, you'll eventually learn to deal with that

I have an idea, have multiple mentors for different parts of animation! Like classes and teachers, Miss Cami here's pretty good with effects so she should be your mentor at FX, I would say I'm decent at easing so you'd have me as your mentor for easing, and so on.
That seems the most logical choice, also you should try getting xchat and join.me both help your mentors communicate with you while you animate and monitor how you animate respectively.

Thanks guys :3
So Camila, Subzero said you are good with FX so I was wondering if you could explain it to me. I made a fire effect once based on a tentacle tutorial
Here:
[SWF=http://www.fileize.com/files/97251263/fe4/firetest.swf]height=400, width=550[/SWF]
So is it okay orshould I ease it out more?
Also I will make a join.me soon so Subzero you can help me with easing if you want too :3
Or if you prefer skype add me: iiisnake

Kidkei is very helpful. His tutorials are good and very descriptive
Join.me is very good for animation criticism when good animators are watching. Gecko is good with movement as well

Quote from JomboYou don't need an instructor/mentor/teacher/whatev. And I don't think anybody you'll find on Stickpage can qualify as a teacher. What you need are goals and steps to achieving those goals. What do you see yourself doing in the future? What do you want to be able to animate? How do you think you're going to get there? You weren't specific when you said you can't animate anything good, you gave the assumption that "overall, I'm just a pretty bad animator" and there's no way anybody can help you with that.
Read an watch these, see if they help.

Neither of them are about animating but they both equally apply.
actually i kinda disagree with this post. personal tutors are very helpful! its way easier to be tutored and be able to ask questions about it then to just watch a tutorial. i did a personal tutor session for gecko a little bit ago and he said it was easier then tutorials because if he needed to know something he could just ask. i saw one of his animations after that and it was actually a drastic improvement. i was thinking of starting Join Me tutor sessions! so ,janravik, if theres something specific you want to be taught or get better at i can try and set aside some time to do a join me or something to help you out! :)

Jombo's right, but i think JanRavnik means who can help me and give me the fundamentals of becoming better and slowly working your way up. Im in your position, really wanting someone to teach me but it never happens. Just keep animating.
