Alright guys lets start with starting off.
If your going to buy an attacking unit, then why not early attack? Because they might of wasted all there money on miners and are starting to mass-horde whatever unit they do.
IN the first few seconds what I usually do is get 1 swordsman and 1 archer and early attack.
I flip-flop across the field meaning that when they move my archer hit them and hit them and eventually kills them.
I force there miners in to re-treat until they waste it on a castle archer or some other defence. Because remember when there not mining YOU ARE.
I will repeat this again. WHEN THERE NOT MINING YOU ARE which gives you an advantage and usually always leads to a win.
But in the meantime while you do that you should of been gaining more and more miners.
At this point you(whatever is your prefence you can do but heres my strategy) should have a suitable defense of a few swordsman. and gathering mana for spearman. I usually horde spearman. And take control of the tower then buy the upgrade only 600 gold and 200 mana. Because a free soldier that hurts the enemy every minute is even more better and will lead you to a more better advantage.
If I have a suitable army I usually re-inforce my armys with 2 giants and I buy the upgrade for a giant every 2 minutes.
At this point you can attack, and even if you don't take out there soldiers and defense(which is highly unlikely) just focus on destroying the statue!
Don't let them turn the tables. Do whatever you can to take down the statue

Miners are surprisingly good at defending themselves. 4 miners vs 1 sword-wrath will not last long. Whereas a counter for archer is castle archer.

And don't get me started on those walls. Early attack will hurt them slightly economically, but strengthen them ten-fold defensively. Army vs Defending Army, the 5 castle archers are gonna add up, even with Giants it takes a unit of health per attack.

If your enemy is playing pure defense or giant stack, take the middle tower and upgrade it (along with the 2 growth upgrades) as soon as possible while building up your army of choice.

lol this strategy wont work on a smart player even if you buy a swordwrath and a archer this can be counter buy buying two swordwraths and 1 miner they can mine out enough gold before you to build a archer and over through your one archer and miner people have already made strategy threads about this strategy multiple time [including myself] i think you a little to late
