Name: Agatha Rorik

Abilities:
Shadow Manipulation - Able to freely control any shadows around her.
Necromancy - Raises undead creatures under her control.
Berserk - When nearing defeat she enters a trance in which her abilities are pushed to the limit with the goal of obliterating the opponent.
Undead - Feels no pain. Isn't affected by human diseases or conditions. In order to be killed, her brain must be destroyed or removed.

Weaknesses:
Lack of shadows - Shadows are her main means of fighting, she becomes significantly weaker when deprived of them.
Slow - Walking corpses don't move very fast.
Suicidal berserker - When in a trance she has no control of herself, usually resulting in self-injury or worse.

Personality:
Very passive, very cautious. She doesn't care for anything that doesn't concern her, and even if it does she shows little interest. While in battle she will attempt to hide from ranged weapons and stay away from melee ones, while her shadows and zombies take care of things. When in a trance her temper changes considerably; she becomes enraged and primal, and will often use her own shadow as a sort of exoskeleton to become more physically powerful.

Appearance:
Her skin is pale and in some places rotten. She has long grey hair and wears an old red dress with yellow trimmings, simple red shoes and an ash-grey silk glove on her right hand. Her limbs are very light and her hands have little skin left. Her eyes have a frost-like glow to them, but are black and empty past it.

Story:
Agatha remembers little of her life. She knows a horde of undead slayed her family and friends, she left behind the man who loved her and she betrayed herself. The later comes from joining sides with he who took her life, a necromancer by the name of D. In her state of misery and madness, D took advantage of her for his own personal gain, granting power in exchange for everything else. Agatha was unable to refuse, not by choice but by pure insanity.
It would take years for D to turn Agatha into the ruthless killer she is today, and when his "project" was complete he granted her what he called the greatest gift of all: a blade to the heart.
Agatha rose again, but to D's amazement she retained will and emotions. It took a great deal of training to break her spirit into nothing, and she resisted losing her humanity through it all. Centuries passed along and her spirit became weaker with time and punishment.
She still has some shreds of humanity left within, but for the most part is nothing but a soulless weapon. She was sent to the RHG to further hone her skills against the very best.

Demo:
Several thugs surrounded Agatha, their goal was unclear but they were certainly looking for trouble. "Trying to assault a helpless woman? I pity you." she told who looked like the head of the group. He pulled out an army knife from his belt and approached Agatha, "How about you hand over the money before you get hurt?". Agatha looked the man in the eyes, uncovering her glowing eye sockets, "No.".

Without time to react, the thug's stomach was quickly pierced by Agatha's shadow, and he fell backwards in a pool of his own blood. The other three men turned around and ran, two of them dropping a chain and a knife. Agatha lifted the knife's shadow to hover horizontally in front of her, while her shadow picked the chain up. As the thugs ran away, the one farther behind was struck in the back of the neck with the shadow knife. Agatha's shadow quickly flowed through the floor dragging the chain with it, and when it got beneath the second one it whipped the chain around his ankles. The thug fell down but the shadow continued forward. He tried to get the chains of, but was having trouble due to the panic. Then he saw the corpse of the leader running towards him in a trail of blood, he panicked even more and resorted to dragging himself and attempting to stand up. The zombie got a hold of the chain and prevented him from escaping, while slowly puling him. The thug tried kicking the zombie until it grabbed his leg and took a deep bite. The man screamed as blood was being sprayed all over the place, and no matter how hard he punched or kicked, the zombie eventually got his neck.

The final thug had ran into an alley, but he hit a fence. He saw the shadow coming after him, and climbed onto a trashcan to jump over the fence. As he was turning his body over the edge, he looked to the other side to inspect his landing spot. The shadow was standing there, and he grabbed hold of the fence to avoid falling into it. The shadow jumped and covered the thug in darkness, then proceeded to bringing him back to Agatha.

The shadowmancer hadn't left the spot she was at the entire time. The shadow uncovered the man's head and faced him to Agatha. "You're afraid aren't you?" she whispered into the man's ear, her voice was both physically and emotionally cold. "You should be, two of your friends are dead, and the other is eating them. What do you think I should do to you?". Agatha brought her head back and the shadow revealed the man's hands, which were lifted in front of the shadowmancer. "You shouldn't have bothered me." she said as she picked the knife up. For a few seconds she stared at the thug, the fear he felt was perhaps more painful than being eaten alive. Perhaps. Agatha moved beside the man and slashed off his hands.

That's a really creative power you have there, manipulating shadows and all. I could imagine her distorting shadows of certain objects to create what looks like something entirely new as a shadow, and using that. For example, she holds up a toy gun and can use it as a real 'shadow gun', or make a shadow that looks like a gun out of random stuff lying around. Unless her powers prevent that?

I do suggest one thing about your demo, however. Try to avoid repetition, specifically with the word thug, and remember to introduce yourself in the introduction section. Otherwise, good luck to you and your wRHG!

Hey, thanks for replying <3

I did introduce myself actually, a few weeks(?) ago, but it's now buried in the intro section. And as for the repetition, I couldn't think of any other words besides thug and man when I wrote that, I'll probably rewrite it when I have the time. (Also, I think the word shadow is WAY more repeated than thug)

Maybe you could give a special name to the shadows that she can weaponize/use, since there aren't many synonyms? I didn't really consider shadow being overused since it was her actual power, but giving a special name to the shadows she uses would make it a bit more varied.
