ok i know that lots of work has to be done before there anychanges
to the actual play style but the classic attck and break enemy statue gets stale after a while
so i thought up a few game modes that would help variety the game to choose between game modes
when click play match a couple of icons come up saying which game mode then "CLICK"
your in a lobby for that gamemode.
IDEAS
NUMBER 1.) SEIGE: in this there is an attacker and defender the defender has a big wall castle. and he has to hold the defense for say 5 minutes so hes gotta do a good defend job in the courtyard is the miners mining you can start defending or mining your choice also tower upgrades include archer towers on the walls you can put a archer in and billistas to shoot at stuff.
now the attacker has a little encampant on the farf side of the map he has to make catapults(to kill archers and archer towers)soldiers to storm the castle killing defenders and a battering ram to protect gate he can raise up a army or go stright for the defense weaken their upgrades can be flaming catapults or long range catapult where you can now hit miners in the courtyard ninjas should be able to ninja in over the walls aswell if attcker gets in walls and reaches throne room or whatever he wins if defender holds out for 5 mins defender will win.
NUMBER 2 TEAM DEATHMATCH: in this there will be 2 people on each team only allowed to control their own troops so they cant mess up your teamate and there are 2 castle next to eachother one is your the othe is teamates same for enemy across the map and you get your own team chat you dont have to be same race so choas can work with order!! and the team get 1 chat fro team chat and another chat for talking to enemy
you dont have to put another chatbox just type /team or something. and you have to cordinate to take down the enemy it will be awesome! and ranking points are shared to how much a particlur teammate did so its judges on skill not just awesome teammates objective is to kill the other teams statue! problem with this ideas is that the match server thing might not cope with all the internet connection and stuff and lag will be more common. and if one teammate laggs your team loses :(.
NUMBER 3 NEW MAP TYPES: okay i know this isent a game mode but it would still be great on the this new speacial map its not just skill that wins enviroment factrors in aswell like spikes randomly coming outta ground and wiping all your swordwrath or hurricanes and stuff and so even if your failing it would take only a stroke of luck for your enemies entire army to half die off in a freakish pit that they just fell into! heheh.
NUMBER 4 co-op: instaed of fighting other players you can work together to deafeat a computer controlled enemie thats realy over powered to make it fair this can work in 3 ways 1# you have seprate castles on each side of the "bandit(or whatever npc you wanna call it)camp" and you attck from both sides!! this is awesome becasue you have to relie on your teamate to help out becasue if you try soloing you will die! 2# again as in the team deathmatch idea both players castles are right next to eachother but i think this wouldent be as fun in this idea 3# this is a varitaion
of classics take tower in middle idea the plan is the 1st person who manages to deafeat bandits in middle take bandit camp/castle and gains massive bonuses and the bandits surrneder and join you then you go on to wipe out the other player (this may have to be another idea but it was so alike to co-op i just put it here as a variation) to deafeat npcs you gotta destroy the statue like in classic.
NUMBER 5 GOLD RUSH!: you have 5 minutes to get the most gold you can get!! no mana is allowed in this version so its harder and you can either risk sabataging your enemy or you can risk taking the gold rush flag in the middle giving you extra gold to win!!! (+50 or something) this is probaly the easiest gamemode to make. so it might be the 1st one out or something if they do make game modes.
NUMBER 6 CONQUEST: ok this is a big mode type but it could be cool what it basicly is. is that actualy ill explaing 1st you know how on campaign
before each level you travel the big map and go to a place? its basicly that but you tell your armyies which place to go to and you have to conquer it the enenmy player has to conquer your land and you vice versa and when a battle starts its just goes to classic style battle.the person who winstakes that land and the person who owns the most land or captures the enemy capital wins to not get confused enmey land or painted red your lands are painted blue and the more land/places you own in immorta (thats where stick war takes place and stick war 2) the more bonuses you get like say you take over a new place you could get any of the following bonus's. starting cash bonus, cheaper archidons ,passive gold at start of battle and lots of other. oh and the max amount of land is 10 and each player owns 5 also on the map stage of playing you can use gold that you earn from winning battle to purchase defenses for places you think the enemy may attack. only problem is that in this gamemode the match will last AGES
so you have to be in it to win it or have alot of time on your hands forfeiters will lose to the winners.
so people post your game mode variety games!! ideas!! (i dont think there is a game mode idea thread 0.o but incase their is sorry)
