I'm sick of visiting this section and generally seeing pitiful threads that only a handful of decent members take seriously. This section is not about jokes, it's not about idle chat, it's not about polls, it's not about popular opinion, it's about serious debates and discussion. If you're here to state your opinion and leave, you will be infracted. If you're here to flame, you will be infracted. If you're here to complain about a topic, to make a joke, or do anything other than contribute to a debate, you will be infracted. This section has been lenient so far, but it's making it a shitty place.

This is a serious section for serious discussion. If you don't agree with this because "it's the internet", then find somewhere else to push your anti-intellectual agenda.

This thread still applies to this section, and is a perfect guideline for it. If you're not going to follow this, and repeatedly break these rules, you will be kicked out of this section, permanently unable to participate.
