Thank you for your response, and while I agree with the logic behind it, I wanted other opinions, since I'm also of the opinion that having multiple gladiators shouldn't be a problem. Are you a fan of tropes, as well? I ask, mostly because you used the specific example of putting hypothetical Dante "on a bus." (Sorry for the off-topic bit.)
I suppose, then, I would also like to know whether or not major changes to an existing character necessitate treating their record as if they were a new character. So, say I had my character Bob, and I discovered through play that Bob had an ability that, although it was balanced, I decided did not fit in with what I had for my vision of Bob. If I were to remove the power completely (even if I explained it in his backstory as an event that occurred after the matches I had played with him), would that require a reset? What if I were to add in another, more appropriate to Bob's identity, ability?
EDIT: Ah, acutelatios (Had to read your name to understand it all. Whoops.), I hadn't read your response when I was writing this one. Thank you for the answer! :)
EDIT2: Though, I would also appreciate an answer regarding my second question. Not sure if the situation is entirely the same there.

I do not think it would require a reset if your character experiences a massive reboot in powers. He is essentially the same person just different. Its like he just changed a shirt. Its still him.

Is there a description somewhere of the general setting wRHG is in? All the battles I've read have made reference to and drawn from some sort of setting that I'm unfamiliar with, and the tournament thread implies there's some sort of a rough layout...somewhere. And there's some sort of wRHG facility.

The WRHG's setting, when you get down to it, is really what we want it to be. Everyone has their own interpretation of it and to be honest I'm not sure what WRHG looks like, so you don't have to be precise with the setting because it can look like anything you want it to be.
Hope that helps once more~

Imagination. It helps.

Though, to add on my last post, people usually view the WRHG as a large metropolis or something of the like~

Thanks, again, acutelatios.
Assuming I stick around, you will likely find that I have no imagination. Just a blade and some stitches where it should be, GamerXD8. I am asking because I'd like to know, at least, what's considered an absolute constant (if indeed there is one.)
EDIT: I see.
What's the history of this place? The sub-forum itself, I mean.

Ok. And my version: A city where the citizens are VERY varied: From fullbodies to stick figures, aliens, robots...There's EVERYONE! EVEN TONY STARK! (Blast Android Class) And Writer's Lounge is part of it. There's everything in the city: From bars, shops and even make-over shops!

Quote from The StrongestWhat's the history of this place? The sub-forum itself, I mean.
Last year, this site merged with Fluidanims who originally had a wRHG section. This place was suppose to mirror that, but none of the writers from Fluidanims made the jump here save for like 2-3 people.
Also, the place originally just started as a place for Animators to write when they didn't want to animate, but many pure writers came here, allured by the idea of it.

Danke, Mecha-Hewitt. And now there's one more brought here by the siren call of wRHG. I look forward to joining in.

Glad to have you aboard then, The Strongest.

Haha, you have my most favourite epic song as your name (The Strongest which is one of the One Piece soundtrack), but anyways I feel the same as Error. If you have any other questions don't hesitate in asking, we'll happily try to answer them as best we can~

I am making a clan.
To anyone that wants to die, you may join it. That is all. No way is this a hype post.

Hmm...well logically, everyone wants to die eventually, right? Only a crazy person, or someone who hasn't thought it all through, wants to live forever. Outliving the heat-death of the universe...what's the point of that? Sure, I'd like to die.

I don't think I've said hello to you yet Strongest: so salve!!
Hewwy: It will be interesting to see you write as I don't think very many people have seen your works. It will certainly be interesting.
