The best thing is that the mayans were way ahead of there time...They probably used the free app on their phones to troll us for Dec 21, 2012...saying this is really is going to really make people flip when they get near this date and that the real version could have extended farther

I posted something earlier in this thread of me freaking out and posting pics of how cracks were popping up in the ground where I was with the idea that everyone would get a quick little "wtf" out of it. But I then realized this forum is full of people who would actually freak the fuck out from that post and do something drastic. Hence, I had to delete it.

Actually the Mayans calculated the length of the year to be 365.2522 days, which is the same length used in today's calenders including leap years and the occasional leap second. Fanatics aside, Mayan calendars are pretty cool.

Anyone else have those faggot friends who decide to wait until midnight and make a facebook status about how the world didn't explode or something? The way I see it, we still have several hours to go before we find out. Maybe I won't wake up. Perhaps we will meet God, or perhaps Satan. All I know is if the world does by some miracle end, I'm going to have bad terms with it due to the fact that I currently have no one to drink with. Sadness.
