ok guys i don't mean to be a prick to any pro-gun supporters but in your opinion: Do you think that if the 2nd amendment didn't exist, the world would be better ? Because I finished my history lecture for this Fall and it has been at the back of my mind. I believe if the 2nd amendment wasn't made, violence may have reduced significantly, and debates on the right to own guns may not be as frequent as they are now.

Anything that can be used for a good reason can be used for a bad one .
Like if they legalized Casual drinking everywhere , someone somewhere will abuse that law .
Guns are not bad in themselves but in the wrong hands anything can be a bad thing .
