Zulym is a Blood Mage. He can cast any kind of spells a mage can cast, but by using blood instead of mana/energy. He can cast spells out of blood of enemies, random blood he find on the ground or somewhere else or of his own blood. (he need to cut himself and sacrifice some of his blood to cast the spell, this means when he casts a spell of his own blood, it damages him.) He can also casts curses (such as healing allies or poisoning enemies. Buff and debuff.), but those can only be casted using his own blood (once again, damaging him). As a blood mage, he can also manipulate blood, using it to damage enemies somehow, or to summon blood creatures to attack enemies. He can use other people's blood to heal his wounds, but only when really needed.
He carries a knife with himself. And when he wants, he can summon a staff. But the staff is just for something extra on his look.

If there is nobody bleeding next to him, or there is no blood around him (on ground or somewhere else) he has to use his own blood. And this damage him. If he is too weak or too damaged, he wont cast spells out of his blood, and will have to fight using the knife only. (and he is not a very good melee combatant.) He can't cure his wounds if there is no blood next to him, cause damaging himself to use his blood to cure himself would just be something stupid. He is not really resistant, and can't regenerate limbs (there are no spells for such thing.)

Zulym was a mage apprentice, but couldn't cast spells. This made him be bullied by the other apprentices. Once, he got in a fight with another apprentice. Zulym broke the other apprentice's nose, and, enraged, the apprentice started casting spells against Zulym, but, Zulym casted one spell. The spell has been cast out of the blood coming out of the other apprentice's nose. The spell froze the apprentice... So, Zulym's master noticed he was different. He had rare powers. He wasn't a normal mage. He was a blood mage. Zulym heard about this place and decided to come and fight some.

Zulym is a really friendly and outgoing guy. He tries to make friends everywhere. He is a bit sarcastic sometimes, making fun out of enemies, allies and sometimes out of himself. Even that he tries to save people, he will kill if necessary. But sometimes he tries to forgive even evil people...

Zulym sees Line wounded, so he simply heal her using his blood.
