Sonic Adventure 2 Battle is still my favorite sonic game of all time. I just don't care for the new ones as much. :P

if anything, SA2B is overrated at most, even though I love that game to death.

About the original post, veXx was an OK game.

It's just that you don't know what the crap you were supposed to do 7/8 of the time.

It was pretty easy to understand as a kid, the mission layout was almost a carbon copy of the supermario 64 mission layout; the only difference being the mission description is written in riddle, which I honestly loved.
Added a great sense of "Figure it out" to the game.

I've heard of it several times, but I'm still not quite sure how it works. It looked interesting though, but I've only heard of the Wii version.

As for underrated games...would Metal Slug count? I have absolutely no idea how popular that game is.

I think Demon's and Dark Souls are underrated because they're just not popular enough. This isn't to say people think they're bad or they don't have a pretty good following. I just love them so much I wish more people would play them. In that sense I think they're pretty underrated. (Although recently they've been attracting more players.)

Psychonauts if that hasn't been posted yet.
Game was visually pretty damn good for it's time and uniquely hilarious.

The plot sucked, but the first two games were actually really good racers in my opinion. I highly doubt the Kinect one is any fun, though.

I'd say the 3 first good old Rayman games could get as popular as Mario and Sonic if they advertised it a bit more. The only popular Rayman games are the ones with those fucking stupid and boring rabbits games on the Wii.

Also there is the Wonderland serie which no one actually play (except me and my dad). It's so genious! Especially Wonderland: Secret World.

The only Rayman game I've ever played was Origins, and it is indeed an amazingly underrated yet awesome game. I've never played the first three, though, and I doubt I'd want to try a single Raving Rabbid...

Bloon Tower Defense was an awesome game, but it kind of turned a bit more Pay2Win with Five. I did have some fun legitly filling the entire beginning map (as in, every single available space) with upgraded miniguns to try and take down three three black zeppelins, twenty red ones, and who-knows-how-many blue ones.

I think Rayman Origins did got pretty popular. Even if that game is pretty fun I still prefer the three first ones, they actually have a pretty good story, awesome bosses and some incredible soundtrack.

Spec Ops: The Line anyone? Most underrated game of 2012 by far. It makes you think you're playing some generic by the book COD ripoff and it pulls the rug from your feet and starts up one of the best stories in gaming. And nobody has played it.
