there really isn't anything to debate here, if someone told me that "porn makes you a pedophile" i'd just say "uh... okay" and then go on with my day with no new concerns other than the level of intelligence of the person who said it

The thing to debate here is if you agree with this or not, and why. If it's that way, then every single thread on the debate forum is pointless ._.

what i meant to say, was that it's a question with such an obvious answer that it should not even dignify a serious response. i don't think a single person on the internet (i exclude facebook etc from this definition) would agree, because pretty much everyone on the internet looks/has looked at porn and not all of them are pedophiles

There is nothing to debate, she stated something that factually didn't make any sense. I can't open up a debate about whether or not riding a bike makes you a rapist. No sane person would agree with this.

Don't toy with your lusts. Indulge yourself when you need to, but don't overdo it. Your sister, though her belief that it will turn you into a pedophile isn't entirely founded, is just trying to protect you. All I can say is just to be careful, it gets worse with time.

What exactly gets worse?

Once you find someone you love. Both care about each other, both want to fuck the living brains out of each other. But if you fuck the living brains out of each other, you're risking pregnancy, STDs, trust, and the law if you're underage. Chances are you have to wait, but the question is can you. Odds are you think you can control yourself. I don't blame you. But the thing is everybody thinks they can control themselves until their dick's up her cunt.

all you need to do is both go and get tested. the rest is irrelevant and doesn't matter unless you make it matter

I'm not sure it's as simple as getting tested, though I'm not saying it's as simple as straight abstinence, either. To be completely honest, explaining this is like trying to explain the concept of a Rubik's Cube to a rat; to me there's an entirely different emotional meta-game to it.

But if you're just in it for hugs, kisses and fucks, go for it. Feast your eyes with everything the sexual world has to offer. It seems to be the popular choice.

Oh. That did sound kind of insulting, didn't it? I was just using alliterations to match the verbal symmetry of the first sentence. My bad.

the only reason it sounded insulting is because you basically said "you wouldn't understand, man" and then didn't even try to explain what you're talking about.

also, you called us rats.

Right. Sorry. Doing good with this debate thing, aren't I?

I guess it's just how I date. I'm big on the whole soulmates thing, which probably isn't entirely healthy at my age, but I guess I just don't like things like sex getting in the way of emotional bonds and all that nonsense.
Pretty much just said nobody would understand because I kind of lock myself in my own little world with it. Seems it's all about sex, and even as somebody who's into stuff like that, I get really bitchy about it being ALL about that. Bit awkward to talk about it, which is kind of infuriating when you wish everybody in the world understood that. Lock myself into a shell and like most shellfish, I get crabby. Apologies... I hardly even realized I just called you a rat, mate. Been living in my head the past few years and I'm trying not to come off as an arrogant bitch, though that isn't working very well so far.

sex is a way of expressing your feelings for the other. depending on the kind of relationship, it will either express lust, or love; which, and how deeply these are expressed, is up to the couple themselves. that is to say, sex does not become a barrier to a relationship; it will more likely just reveal what kind of relationship both members of the couple feel that they are in, and in most cases will help (and may even be necessary for) such a relationship to progress further.

this is why the "honeymoon period" of a relationship occurs; the couple fucks like bunnies for a few months and then either breaks up (realizing it is a lust relationship) or sticks together long term (realizing it is a love relationship).

Porn doesn't make me a pedophile, haha.
My windowless panel van that says "Cookie caravan" on the side does.

Lame jokes aside, no prono doesn't make anyone a pedophile, preposterous.
