Man I just uploaded two movies and they're numbered 1150 and 1152. I think we uploaded basically at the same time.

Anyways... nice effort. Read some blood tuts or particle tuts for the blood.

Maybe you should look at some easing tutorials too.
Also speed up your fps rate. Usual one is 16, i believe.

When the purple guy just started to fly in, there was like some pause between when he flew in and then when he hit the saber... But nice for a first. I suggest you look at some tuts and stuff.

On-Topic, It wasn't bad for a first. I've seen some terrible firsts. Maybe use the brush tool. Read some tutorials. Starting with the VERY basics, Stick drawing, etc. Then animate movements. Slowly move onto fights.
Use blood after all of this, then move onto effects.
Soon enough you will be a fairly good animator.

Um...good suggestions I'll check out the tutorials ... from the basics
