I for one think the new version is better, but doesn't fit in with the original's idea of being a slightly slower paced game where you build everything then shoot and repair cover.

Ace of spades steam version shouldn't be called Ace of Spades. The beta, is also nice, but as I said, it's really slow paced and there were too many hackers.

0.76 got leaked a while back. Also, I agree with nearly everything except drillgun/rocketeer. The drill gun was only added because of the extremely fast-paced nature of the new AOS, so you wouldn't get killed digging a tunnel. The rocketeer can only fly for a short amount of time, and while he's flying, the gun's recoil gets harder, it's harder to aim while moving that fast, and of course, the movement is a little floaty so it's hard to land accurately and when you land, you slip a little. Also, you are equipped with single blocks so you can build like in the classic AOS if you want to.
