In all seriousness, those who are applying should really look at this, and reread over and over till it sticks.
Before applying, please make sure you understand what it is you'll be doing. The position is not a vanity item. You are expected to fulfill your duties as a moderator, I am not interested in people who want the spot just so they can act like they're better than common folk. Make sure you are WILLING and ABLE to perform, we really need active members who have a good head on their shoulders. Too often do we get people to moderate and they're active for maybe a week before they vanish.
If you're gonna apply, ensure you're willing to put in the work effort for it.
Don't apply for mod just to be a mod for it's fringe benefits.
