The picture went viral and she payed hard for it.

She was continuously abused for it at school, to the point where she moved schools twice before moving to a new town.
The abuse continued and then she made this youtube video telling her story

She was then given sympathy by the world. She had already tried suicide once. And then she tried it again soon after this video airing. She succeeded.

And that's the story of Amanda Todd.
