One thing stands strong though...

THE RING

That movie scared the crap out of me when I was in my early teens. Then again, it WAS my first horror movie I watched, so... yeah.

The Barrens is a very creepy, and fairly unnerving film, it's a little unclear at some points, in all honesty.
Along with a film called Hide and Seek (this one), that was a little scary, but not the scariest, it's more of a creepy film than a heart-racing horror-styled film.
