Looks like a mixture of pivot and flash.
Pivot joint moving.
Flash editing. But I think Pivot 4 has more editing to it, so it doesn't really vary.

I've heard of TISFAT before, and I've heard of challagundla4 because I've subbed him for his work.
It's not really news or anything.

I don't think it's supposed to be news, he's just bringing light to it for people who may not know of it.

I tried it, annoying as fuck to do anything with. Not exactly "user friendly". To me at least

i've tried it briefly in the past, but the joint moving was a little convoluted. either that, or i just sucked at it because i was used to pivot, which is more likely.
however, looking at that video it appears that it's actually much more diverse than first appearances would suggest. definitely more options than pivot, at least. i liked the guy's use of sprites.

Nope, tisfat still has a lot more editing features than pivot 4. I especially like that it is tween based and the fact that it has a built in physics engine. Why I don't use it is because I find the layout of it to be a bit too complicated and it crashes a lot.

Isn't this the one where it makes stuff which looks flash-like but everything is tweened? Makes mediocre animation too easy and good animation too hard.

Before I got Flash, I used Pivot, and during that time, I tried out TISFAT, but I guess it's not user friendly enough, or that it's just really hard to use or get to understand, so I dumped the program.

Yeah it's not user friendly. Yet I would recommend it to anyone who is ready to go through learning how to use it to make good animations for free.
I've seen pivot and tisfat animations that are better than average flash animations. These pivot people especially pay attention to detail.
