Whoa really like that! Loops great too, I like how you played with the different shades or..brush styles with the fireball. I've yet to try them out, don't really know how to apply them. Keep up the great work!

The gradients are really easy to use once you get the hang of them. Of course they can be tricky and at first it's hard to predict what they'll do, but try using a pencil at thickness 3 and click on the gradient that's half and half checkerboard pattern. Should be right in the middle. Play around with that for a little bit, or use it as a color for fullbody characters. Make sure your character is a closed shape and then click on the inside with the paintbucket tool. Adding that touch of grey really helps with the illusion of depth.

This was an animation done in EasyToon in November 2011, edited for better body movement a couple days ago, edited in GIMP to add color, and stitched back together at a higher framerate in Microsoft GIF Animator.

The progression is shown below.

Whoah, awesome. That looks really good. The back limbs might be a little too dark, but I'm having a lot of trouble spotting anything wrong with this.

The back limbs are dark, yeah. I thought about that and decided to go with what I have there, but I did wonder if maybe I should just make them a tad darker. Also, there is some resizing and reshaping and various details pertaining to the actual movement of the body compared to a real running fox.

That's what I've noticed after staring at it for a long time trying to pick it apart, but after a few viewings, I don't think most of it's noticeable. I have had other criticisms over the darkness of the background legs, though.

I appreciate your comment, Scarecrow. Glad you enjoyed it. :)

Thank you, Atomicapple!

I'm aware of the rule changes on bumps, but I'm not sure if that applies to these sorts of threads, too. If it does, I'll gladly take infractions every time I update my thread until I'm banned.

Anyway, here's a mixture of Easytoon and stop motion animation. Just an exercise. Gonna use this technique more extensively in the future.

WARNING: Large animated gif.

You probably won't get banned for this thread. In your case bumping is justified, I believe.

Interesting idea and a good try. But this one could have more frames, in my opinion. Watch the moves, try to make them less antsy. And I`d reccomend you to practice at drawing as much as you can, of course. It must truly help to animate in easytoon, as I think.

It would be logical to add a link to this animation to the first post btw.

You're like the most underrated but talented Easytoon animator ever

Easytoon should upgrade into something almost similar to flash. Unless you guys don't agree with it.
