Damn right I'm scared.

But in all honesty, this kind of thing happens with about any game forum with a generalized topic. The specific and what I call "advanced" topics (i.e. Order Empire, Chaos Empire, etc) are the places were serious discussion should be. A forum for another game I play has the exact same problem. Why? Because noobs are noobs. I had a thread going in the chaos section, and only abandoned it because I work more now in my own site forums (that's right, TZ's got made forums). I knew better than to post it here. Only a smartypants would look where they should find it.

No, I'm not opposed to a nice sticky thread for "Hello First Timer," but I personally think we should be more concerned about having empire related threads and more advanced and technical discussions in the specific topics for Order and Chaos. It would make those topics more fruitful, and actually help eliminate this fight of plundering through spam in search of the gold nugget threads.

Lastly, if you guys would like to see me pitch in more here, just ask. I kinda thought this would run its course, but since everything seems hellbent on dealing with needless threads and posts instead of pushing for solid material... perhaps it's time I step in.

All I do is regulate threads given a basic set of rules. If you guys can merge all the similar topic threads into one AND give me a list of what kind of threads SHOULDNT be made, then I will at least have a good foundation for what to bin and infract instead of doing it headless
