Wtf happened?
I know we're not supposed to talk about banned people, but what is going to happen with the Gauntlet now? Is he permabanned or just like a dayban for something stupid?

We have a thread for discussing forum bans. I posted about it there for those wondering what's going on.

Especially for us SE peeps could there be a link to the ban registra on banned account names? I went a long time having no idea where to look when people have been banned

What do you mean? Like a log of whom was banned in this section of the forum? Or in game accounts? I think you're referring to the former.
If so then there's no need. Rarely someone from here gets banned.

No, making the red banned username provide a hyperlink to the ban registra thread.

That's a good idea, we should have done that a while ago. I would implement this but the site is close to a complete overhaul which already includes a system that puts the ban information right on the banned user's page, and bans like this rarely happen these days so there's not really much point in it now.

Ah. The overhaul site is mobile friendly too, right? Yeah has the site lost traffic or just lost traffic from people breaking the rules? O.o

Yeah the new site will have a mobile friendly version designed for touch so it doesn't suck to use. The site hasn't lost traffic from people breaking the rules, things have just been on a slow decline around here for years because the previous developer hadn't completed features the community wanted so people started jumping ship to other sites that had those features. The overhaul has been a long time coming lol

that's just a skin only for the forums (and it has some bugs), the rest of Stickpage doesn't really work too well on mobile.

Oh are you overhauling the entire site? But isn't most of this site excluding the Forums flash based applications that will never run on mobile devices? O.o I thought you were just overhauling the forums.

The overhaul is a lot more involved than that. It's adding a bunch of features for the community and is more than just making the site accessible on mobile. It's true some of the site wont be accessible due to the use of Flash, but we're expanding from Flash animations and games so there's other mobile-friendly content. Plus people who participate in the community will enjoy the benefit of having a mobile-friendly site. Most of it is geared towards the creative members here but the Stick War/Empire section is getting an upgrade as well so the community here can have people running it who also play the game. It's getting somewhat separated from the the rest of the forums and given it's own dedicated space.

Also pressing question is will the new site have upvoting/liking/+1ing/voting/whatever on posts?
