I was considering joining the debating sections until it closed. I do enjoy serious discussions and if they can be held on the general forums then I may post over their. I will certainly have a look

Because in amongst all the salt we do actually still refer to the game

Basically it's just clutter. You can have debate topics in General Chat too. Just make the same thread and ask people to take it seriously and they will. All the seriousness and strict rules just pushed people away.

I would argree with that I love debateing but I'm not a debate society standard debater. Their were too many rules really.

It's not that there were a lot of rules. In fact, there weren't that many at all. There was really only one central rule and that was don't be a fucking moron. As in don't shitpost and etc. It's a fairly simple rule to follow, we just took it seriously to distinguish it from the General Section.

It lost its use since no one posted there. Most people in the General Section are pretty serious when you ask them to be.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and as of five minutes ago, Ai is no longer a sectional mod of this section. The global mods (Azure, Devour, Mantha, Exile, Cami) and I are the ones that'll be modding this section now.

Why's Ai not a mod anymore?

Makes sense. Will there be another mod to fill the gap? Or we just gonna be modless again?
