Part I: Introduction (Click to Show)
[spoiler=Part II: Finding the Artifacts]
The Mentor
Fransesco, after waking up, realized that he was in a dark room.
His hands and legs are tied to his back.
Then, he sees the shadows are moving.
The shadow, now showing themselves as man, quickly move the light.
Then, Fransesco saw and old guy with the robe, folding his hands.
He quickly spoke:
"Who are you, and how do you find us?" (Old Man)
"My name is Fransesco, and I bring a letter from Hercan." (Fransesco)
"Hercan? The Spearton tribe leader?" (Old Man)
"Yes, he thought you could help me." (Fransesco)
The man in the robe gets his hand on Fransesco's letter, and quickly read it.
He smiled, and torn the paper into two.
He gives a signal to his men, which quickly cut Fransesco's rope.
Then, the old man told Fransesco to follow him.
Fransesco follow the old man through a maze of tunnels.
After reaching a door, the old man let Fransesco open the door.
When he open the door, he was shocked.
He was inside a large fortress, surrounded by mountain.
There, he saw a large amount of fighters are sparring with each other.
Then suddenly, the old man throws a wooden sword to Fransesco, which he promptly catches it.
In surprise, a large man attacked Fransesco, who tried to defend himself.
A furious duel ensues.
The people, who currently sparring against each other, saw the duel and stop their spar.
Fransesco, being lighter than the man, quickly parried his attacks and strike with a jab.
However, the big man, who shows some agility, moved from the sword's way, strike Fransesco with a slash.
Fransesco, almost gets hit by the slash, quickly moves in for a counter.
He grabs the person arms, dismantle his weapons.
Then, he grabs the weapon and put it on the man's neck.
All of that happens in a second, and the old man was impressed.
"Well fought,my little man. I hope you enjoyed this spar." (Old Man)
"This is a spar?" (Fransesco)
"Of course. Your training will take 3 years, and maybe several bloody conflicts." (Old Man)
"Do you want the challenge? Or you will just run away like a chicken?" (Old Man)
"I was born with challenges, and I just like bloody conflicts." (Fransesco)
"Well then, I hereby proclaim you as my apprentice, Fransesco." (Old Man)
"My name is Rashid, and I will be your mentor for the next 3 years." (Rashid)
First Artifact, Sword of the Cursed Poison.
After 3 years, Fransesco succeed in his training.
He became a full shadowrath, capable to mixing with his shadows.
Other apprentices calls him "The Shadow."
At the final test, he was told that it was a surprise.
However, he saw the test was a bit shocking.
"So, what are you waiting for? Attack me!" (Rashid)
"Uhm, I don't want to fight you, Mentor." (Fransesco)
"Is it? Well then, I will attack you first!" (Rashid)
*Rashid slashes his sword.
"Argh! Do you know that is a real, steel sword?" (Fransesco)
"I know, your job is only to disarm me!" (Rashid)
"Really?" (Fransesco)
"Yup, so come at me bro!" (Rashid)
Fransesco and Rashid attacked with a fury.
Rashid, although old, seems have a way to handle his sword.
While Fransesco, although younger, can't fight the Mentor with his swordmanship skills.
But then, Fransesco did something anyone doesn't expect.
*Rashid slashes his sword.
*Fransesco ducked.
*Rashid slashes his sword
*Fransesco rolled forward.
*Fransesco use a spinwheel to kick the Mentor's leg.
*Mentor falls down.
*Fransesco disarmed him.
Rashid, surprised by Fransesco's technique, quickly woke up and impressed.
He quickly led the graduation ceremony, and he proclaim, that Fransesco was his best apprentice.
The graduation lasts for a day, and Fransesco will leave tomorrow.
In the night, Fransesco was wondering in the halls when a hand pulled him to a room.
The hand quickly light a candle, revealing himself as Rashid.
"Hey boy, you beaten me, and so I appoint you as a new wielder of this sword."
*Rashid pulls out a white sword.
"This is the Sword of the Cursed Poison, also called the Cursed Fang. (Rashid)
"I have this from a man, who told me to give it for the next generation." (Rashid)
"I can't accept this sword!" (Fransesco)
"You must, since this sword is dreadful, since it has killed many of my clumsy friends." (Rashid)
"One trick of blood made by him, will kill any man, and so, I hope you take good care on this sword." (Rahid)
"But, I still can't accept it....." (Fransesco)
"I said you must! And you need to visit the X spots, since I listen to the man, that there is another artifacts there. (Rashid)
"But....." (Fransesco)
"I said, grab the sword, and I want you to leave in this morning, ASAP. I just wish you goodluck." (Rashid)
*Rashid leaves out the room.
Fransesco, still doesn't understand what happened, just looked at the map.
He saw 3 X spots on the map, and was intrigued.
He determined to see what kind of artifacts out there...
2nd Artifact, The Bow of the Bone Guard.
Fransesco arrived in the first X spot, the Tirent Swamp.
He was confused, since he thought, that there shouldn't be any artifact here.
Then suddenly, a bow passed beside him, landing on a snake who was trying to attack him.
Fransesco quickly saw who shot the arrow, but he was confused when the man was nowhere
Then, he heard a voice and a dagger in his neck.
"Who are you?" (Hunter)
"AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" (Fransesco)
Fransesco, acting on reflex, grab his mentor's sword and slash at the hunter.
However, he forgot that the sword has poison on it.
*The hunter fell down.
"What the hell did you do?" (Hunter)
"Oops." (Fransesco)
*The hunter died.
Fransesco, feeling sorry for the hunter, quickly mourn for him.
However, he saw a bow made from bones from the man's back.
He quickly grab the bow, and make haste to another X spots.
He just wished, that no one saw his *accident*.
3rd Artifact,Spear of the Destroyer.
Fransesco, looking at the map again, quickly arrived at the 2nd X spot.
He was confused and wildered, but then he heard a large voice from the tent.
Inside the camp, Fransesco saw that a shield was broken, when pierced through a spear.
Hercan, seeing Fransesco again, quickly hugged him.
"Fransesco! Where have you been?" (Hercan)
"I just returned from a travel." (Fransesco)
"Well, first of all, we have a problem." (Hercan)
"It seems that we found a additional spear on our armory," (Hercan)
"The problem is, the spear are really strong, and it easily busted our training shields." (Hercan)
"Can you take care of the spear for us?" (Hercan)
Fransesco, aware that it's another artifact, quickly agreed.
And so, another artifact was found. (Fransesco thought to himself, I'm Lucky!)
He quickly moved to the last X spot, to the last artifact.
The Last X Spot
Fransesco arrived at the last X spots, and turned out to be a mountainoues terrain.
He feel a vague feeling of dejavu...and then.....
*Bugh
"Ouch"
Fransesco fainted again.
The Magical Village
Fransesco, after woking up, found himself to be tied again.
Then, he found an old man with a staff, poking at him.
He said:
"Who are you young boy?" (Old Man)
"My name is Fransesco, good sir." (Fransesco)
"What do you need here? In the village of Mayer? (Old Man)
"I have a quest to find an artifact." (Fransesco)
"An artifact? You mean this?" (Old Man)
*The old man reveals a glowing staff.
"Yes! It's the one I'm looking for! (Fransesco)
"You want it? Then I have a request." (Old Man)
"You see, there is a bandit village around here." (Old Man)
"They always ramsack our village, and killed many men." (Old Man)
"I'll grant you a wish, if you beat the bandits back.
Fransesco, aware that he needs the last artifact, quickly agreed.
And so, another job has fallen on him.
Fransesco, after awhile, arrived at the bandit village.
He saw that the bandits are organized, and they're led by a leader.
He quickly understand, that the leader must be removed.
In the night, Fransesco sneaked to the encampment, and prepare his Mentor's sword.
He quickly entered one of the biggest tent, and quickly found the bandit leader.
He shed a blood on the bandit's finger, and quickly get away from the tent.
Then, he grabs a torch, and burn 3 tents on the encampment.
The fire quickly burns, as the bandits panicked.
"Where are our leader?" (Bandit 1)
"Where are the waters?" (Bandit 2)
"Where are my clothes?" (Bandit 3)
The fire burns the bandit encampment, and by tomorrow morning, nothing was left to it.
Fransesco, arrived at Mayer village, was quickly clapped at the arrival of Fransesco, quickly brought him to his tent.
All of the elders are in the tent, and some Meric, with one are distinguishably different from the others, quickly clapped him.
"Well done warrior! You have not failed us!" (Old Man)
"Pst, who is that Meric?" (Fransesco)
"That one? She was my cousin! Jaina!" (Old Man)
"Jaina! Come here please!" (Old Man)
Jaina quickly rose from the seat, and shaked her hands against Fransesco.
Fransesco, noticed a different gentleness from her, feel a fly on his guts.
"Ok! So, what do you wish for?" (Old Man)
"I want Jaina to be my bride." (Fransesco)
All of the elders on the room were gasped.
And old man, seeming holding his rage, quickly grabbed Fransesco.
"Really? And what did you do that you think you deserved her?" (Old Man)
"I freed your village from the bandits." (Fransesco)
"Hmmm.....Fine, but you must beat her in running contest." (Old Man)
"It's a deal." (Fransesco)
Fransesco, feeling that he was unbeatable, quickly put on his shoes.
The race started, and Fransesco was walking to let her go first
But in his surprise, Jaina was fast, and in just a small time she was ahead of him.
Fransesco, cursing himself for his hubris, quickly runs to catch up with her.
Jaina seems almost on the finish, when Fransesco thought of an idea.
He quickly grabbed the spear artifact, and throw it on a branch in front of Jaina.
The branch fell, and Jaina was tripped by it.
Fransesco quickly leapt in front of her, winning the race.
The village take it as a foul, however, Jaina allowed it.
"A deal is a deal, I'll be your wife." (Jaina)
"But my cousin, you don't need to..." (Old Man)
"Don't worry, I can handle it."
And so, Fransesco married and lived in the village.
However, he remembered his quest (After a year), and quickly left Jaina.
He stole the staff from the elder, and suddenly, a large glow on the map appeared.
It's another X spot, and Fransesco was confused, since it wasn't there before.
And so, he set
