So, Chinese New Year is right around the corner. HERE!!! It's a happy day for Chinese kids everywhere! You get to eat a ton of your cousin's candy, receive red packets with oodles of money in them, and generally have a fantastic time. For all the Chinese Stickpagers here, yay!
If you don't care just because you are not Chinese, feel free to leave this thread.
I'll be leaving to Guangzhou soon! I am currently in Guangzhou, not that you care...
0 minutes till Chinese New Year! HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!

I'd say that looks like some celebrations we have in my country.
Anyways.

Happy Chinese new year!

My favorite time of the year. Gonna get some li-xi, go to whatever festival that is held in Chinatown. I think I even have a dentist appointment. It'll be great.

I'm eating Taiwanese Mochi right now, does that count as a celebration?

Sure do!
Although me and my family, including my cousins and my cousins' family usually go to some Cantonese restaurants and celebrate there.
We also celebrate Chinese New Year's Eve at a Cantonese Restaurant. In fact, I'm getting ready to go to Tseung Kwan O for dinner with my relatives!

We say '新年快樂' for both New Year and Chinese New Year. It means 'Happy New Year!'
