What exactly is an out of sync error? I just got one while facing a guy. I had just killed all his albows (3) mid-game with 2 archers (meatshields ftw) and I was producing a giant. Then the game went out of sync and said it wouldn't count towards our ratings. It then showed the victory screen from my last game but with all the lines replaced with thick black like a marker. I can't quite remember the name of the guy I faced but I think it was something along the lines of Mesut or Metus or something like that. Is it an exploit he used?

I'm not sure if this is an exploit because it already happened to my twice, once was a regular match and another time it was a match with one of my friends, and he said that he didn't know what the he'll happened.

Well, I heard some people use lag exploits so I thought that this guy may have used an out of sync exploit.

That happened to me once, when I fought buddylucky2 in friend match.

There are several ways to get a game to go out of sync.
For example, fr0st's game with Buddy was, the two clients became out of sync because of the lag.
Another way to make it go out of sync, is to hack the game. Any editing or changing of variables that aren't meant to change, will cause the game to go out of sync.

So you're saying the other guy may have tried to use Cheat Engine as soon as his albows died?

ways to get out of sync:
1. Someone tries to change a variable in the game, ex. gold amount
2. Much amount of lag (probably)
