So im on a long map, and my strategy is initially to build three miners and make speartons and other units, right?
So I have no idea what the opponent is doing, until i get that first spearton after the three miners.
One detail is that the opponent spawned an archer after that happened.
So while his archer was no problem, I was slowed down by it.
So then I get my spearton to run accross the whole map and I see 20+ miners (no joke) mining.
So I naturally attack them.
So then, I have two speartons and two archers, and the opponents miners were attacking me.
So I play hit and run with the miners.
So then he spawns out a fully grown giant.
Naturally, I retreated.
So the giant took the center.
I attacked again.
Another giant came. By now I was replacing single speartons.
My spearton dies. He still has a giant. I have 3 archers. I retreat. He stays at the center.
I build 1 spearton and a magikill. I have poison and explosion, but not electric wall. I attack. One giant loses almost all its health. My magikill dies, along with my spearton meat shields. Maybe I should've trained shield wall. Oh well. I was panicking.
I make 2 speartons and a magikill and three archers. I attack. He now has four giants (HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE)and I lose the battle.
He stays at the center, and I forfeit.
Should I have turtled and spammed speartons and rushed his base, or should I have just built speartons, ignored giants, and ran to his side and and killed miners? (i don't think the second one would work)
I dunno, but please give some suggestions.
