Gas prices are nearly the only thing my local news talks about anymore. It's getting to be murderously repetitive. No shit gas is more expensive, where have they been for the last 3 years?

Is it getting annoying, or what?

I'm getting sick of paying 4 bucks a gallon.

I agree though. The news deflated this just like they did to the Iraq war.

Yeah, all it is now is "gas prices were raised, and they're still going!" or "hopefully gas prices will be lowered when so and so becomes president"

I doubt we're low on oil anyway.

It's annoying to hear about it, but not nearly as annoying as knowing it's true. A few months ago it was ****ing $2 a gallon, now it's $4 and I hear by the end of the summer it'll be $6.

Just the same, if they started saying the price of liquor started going up, I wouldn't care, and I wouldn't want to hear about it. The fact of the matter, though, is that gas prices have been increasing at a batshit insane rate for the last 7 years and it's seriously affecting most people, including me. I drive a god damned Ford Taurus and I spend over 70 dollars filling it up each week. Not to mention the impact it's having on the economy as a whole.

It might be irritating to hear about it all the time on the news, but it's still worth reporting. It's a big deal.

We're not low on oil. Most of the oil producing countries cut back on the oil production to keep the prices.
