I dropped the overpowered wRHG's idea, and decided to make this a thread to discuss about the current wRHG's.

You could simply comment on their actual wRHG pages and ask them to fix it themselves. Besides, there aren't any overpowered wRHGs out there that are still active at the moment.

I don't think any character can be oveerpowered, since it's about writing skills, not about how "good" your character can fight.

There was this one character named Nukboy who literally fought with nukes, and when he died, he let off a spectacular explosion that would kill the enemy no matter what. He was fixed later on, but he's inactive now. Still, I must say writing about a character who fights with nuclear explosives and can stand their power must be a little difficult. We don't have any OP wRHGs right now that can't be defeated with a creative story, but it's happened before ._.

It is entirely possible to be overpowered, and I find this statement, as well as your misspelling of "overpowered" to be a show of your ignorance of on the subject. As shown by Luzoto's example, being overpowered is quite easy if you don't carefully think out ways to actually defeat your own character. My first wRHG, Nightshade, was dangerously close to overpowered. I had him quite balanced though through his weaknesses, and he still appears in my writing now and then. But the reason he was so close is because I never took into consideration how others would have to fight him. That's why he had weaknesses that could be exploited by any fighter, not a fighter with certain attributes.

My current character Flipside is in fact far from overpowered at the moment, though when he updates then he could be considered such if one does carefully examine how his abilities work. Weaknesses balance out powers, and so do personalities.

my trio team was also over powered due to the pathetic weaknesses they had, one of jackels weaknesses was he dies instantly if silver weaponry of any type hits him, i failed to notice nobody uses the element silver in their weapons

btw this nightshade character, ive never seen him. yet i hear horrible stories of him

I beleive in no such thing as overpowered.

As long as there is an equal weakness to a power, nothing is overpowered

if your character is "overpowered", you can both find a way to balance it, like a injection that partly disables someones powers.
come on guys, it's about having fun and fantazising, not really based on rules.

You're right, it is about having fun, and that's most of the reason why people have issues with overpowered characters. If John or August literally can't beat an enemy, I can assure you I won't be enjoying that battle.
