View Profile looking good so far as a starter piece... I would advise to have the left foot less straight forward and more to where the knee cap is pointing, it looks almost like a twisted ankle, plus it adds awkwardness to the pose
good luck!

View Profile If yo really want to make a "deep" effect, make one o the legs thicker than the other one, it'll look that it's actually far.
And nice body construction, I like it's anatomy.

View Profile Perspective
That "Deep" effect camila's referring to is the distance in perspective. I can't say by looking at the figure, a flat plain will look correct in it's standpoint.
Yes, you must show distance in proportional size to create a better illusion of perspective.
Try to go for an asymmetrical balance as well, radial and symmetrical balances lose interest more quickly than asymmetrical.
it's different, shows emphasis, contrast, and a variety of rhythm.

View Profile It doesn't look like a nightmare. You're sticking a reptile's head onto a humanoid shape, it's not at all monstrous by any degree.
Stretch your imagination further and be more creative with the design. Give it claws, abnormally thick and muscular legs, salivating teeth, skeletal like body, and so on.

View Profile QnQ ok.... But i was going for more of the slender shape that doesn't look so scary. Looks either drive prey away, or draw it closer - this wasn't meant to look scary, just kind of a reference for what lurks in the dark and draws you in... But i'll work on it a bit more
@Stickly - sorry ^^"" THANK YOU ALMIGHTY AND POWERFUL STICKLY, YOU SON-OF-A-GUN!!
