I have finally finished my 3rd attempt at concept drawing with flash:D.
Background is not so smooth as this is also my 1st time using photoshop for effects.(been gouging my eyes all over the web for ps tuts)

I like it kinda reminds me of my rhg XD

I'd lengthen that left are if I were you.
Also, when dealing with radiating energy effects, make sure they have a start point (eg. the floor, off the figure, the eyes, etc) and make sure it varies in shape, size, and color.
The red electricity can be done with a smaller brush size; electricity is very thin but plentiful.

The left hand is meant to be a 'stone like' hand so i was a bit unsure if i should lengthen it as if it were a long sword.
Thanx for posting a pic reference:) and the advice, i could apply them in future drawings.
