We have those annoying phrases that people sometimes or always say.
Which of them in perticular annoy you the most?
For me, it would be when people say 'I could care less'. Why? Because it's basically wrong, the correct phrase is 'I couldn't care less', if you could care less, it means you could care with all of heart, because of course, you could care less. If you couldn't care less, it means you don't care at all.

"Everything's gonna be okay" This phrase's predictable, you know something bad is about to happen.

I just hate that phrase. It's just shitty, dumb, and annoying.

"I'm going to rule the world!!/Let's rule the world!!/I will take over the world!!"

"Don't judge me! You don't know what it's like!"
Firstly, yes. I can judge you in whatever way I want. I'm human and am capable of judgement. If you did something wrong like commited crime, take drugs or anything like that, then yes, I will judge you, because you have no right to defend yourself if you've done something that fucking stupid. And you're right; I don't know what it's like, I also don't care what it's like.

I also hate it when say you just told someone for example someone was saying shit to you don't like and simply tried to ignore it and walked away, and they're basically saying shit like:
"Yeah, I would've kicked his ass if he said that to me".
No. You. Fucking. Wouldn't. Almost anyone who says this acts in the same fight or flight responce kind of way, and they're just saying it to gain some fake bad-ass thing. I always say 'I have him on my phone, want me to call him and tell him to come down so you can kick his ass?' and of course, no responce.

Another thing is when people say 'Hmm' or 'Mhmm' when you're trying to speak to them. It's not really bad if say you've just done something or said something they got upset over, you want to apoligize to them and they're still upset and they just want you out of their site. That's fine, but in text messages it's beyond fucking annoying, it's a text message, you're supposed to simply stop and say 'Hmmm....what should I say next?' You have that right to stop and think of a sentence, so use it. Don't waste my time to let me say to myself 'Oh, he/she responded, I guess he/she has something to say', then I just see 'Mhmm'. I just spent 20 minutes of my own free time telling you something you something important, and all I get is a simple 'Mhmm.' Fuck you. You are not worth my fucking time if you can't even simply respect how much time I just gave up informing you about something.

I also fucking hate 'Just because I'm black, isn't it?' (or white, depends), No. I don't fucking care what race you are. Don't try to bring me or anyone else down because you're different in a way no-one can help, so leave it out of the conversation. If you're a dick and I don't like being around you, then it's not because you're black or white or whatever, it's because you're a brain-dead shit-head who isn't worth my time.

Also, when you give your opinion about something and someone says 'Prove it.'
Why would I ever need to prove my opinion? It's obviously not true in the first place, it's what I think about something and I simply want people to know about what I think and see of they agree, not something that needs to be proven. And how can I prove an opinion anyway? If you don't like what I say, ignore me, you can always simply say you don't agree, that's fine, I don't mind listening to why you think not. Just don't make a dumbass out of yourself and make it look like you can't tell the simple difference between a fact and an opinion.

Quote from Jombo
"Just saying"
Whenever I hear this I hear "I don't want to be a part of this conversation, but I feel it's necessary to add my input whether it's right or wrong. And don't bother responding because I'm not part of this conversation, so I'm not going to explain or defend it." It makes me want to punch them right in their mouth.

"That's just your opinion" "I'm just stating my opinion"
This bugs me only because no shit. If it's coming out of your face, it's probably your opinion. It also ties with above, the people who usually say this usually have the thought of "well since it's just my opinion I'm allowed to say whatever I want nyeh nyeh", or "since it's just your opinion I can just opt out haha!" It's like they know they've made a mistake but they don't want to get off their high horse. Usually arguments where people give there opinion are usually about trying to change someone's opinion, so saying "that's your opinion" is just retarded.

Whenever someone replaces "o" with "aw", like lawl, or bawls. I just find it dumb. I really don't have a reason for this.

Excessive uses of the word "like" can be annoying. I know it's intended to be a filler for someone who doesn't have good speaking skills, but it get's out of hand. At least there's no reason for it to be on the internet.

Also the word "epic" makes me cringe.

edit: here's a video that goes with "just sayin": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oKN47KhflCY
he spends the first 90 seconds talking about a trip or something lol sry

Oh gawd, I like, totally agree with you! I too hate when people say "That's just your opinion". Also that video you've included is epic!. Lawl, just saying.

Wow, I can't believe nobody's mentioned that "I believe in Jesus Christ / Put This in your Sig" shit yet. Nothing against your religion, but it sounds really vain to just let the world know, innit?

Fucking thank you! Even when I was a Christian that shit pissed me off to be honest, more than anything it seems to be a passive aggressive way to root out those who aren't of religion and trying to make those who don't feel like yelling out their beliefs guilty for not putting it in their signature...

Quote from Hewitt
And its not like Christianity is in the minority or is a fairly obscure and easily prosecuted subject either.

Lol in this forum it is...

There is simply no point in letting people know other than to be an annoying fad.

But yeah in general agreed once again...

I hate it when people use words out of their suggested context.

For example, I know a few people who assume that any joke told about a specific race is racist, especially when vast amounts of people decide to shout "That's racist!" after something that seems offensive to some race is shown.

One of my friends had cracked a black joke in front of me and a few of my other friends, and the majority of my group had decided to reply to that joke as racist. Wouldn't the word "racist" be used in the wrong context in that matter? Just because a joke or phrase/term is said displays a racial stereotype doesn't mean it's racist.

According to Wikipedia:

Racism is the belief that a particular race is better or worse than another, and that a person is born with their social and moral traits, which are related to their race.

So a joke referring to a specific race would just be offensive, not racist. It bothers me to see this word and so many more misused several times within my social groups.

Also, I dislike the words "swag, yolo, swerve, stacks" and other words along those lines used in public.

One other thing I dislike is when you happen to be in between a conversation between two people and you interrupt one of them expressing your general viewpoint on the conversation and they say "Nobody asked you!" or something similar to that because they don't like your point of view. It happened the other day in my Computer Science course when I happened to sit between two girls, and they had been fangirling over some mainstream male recording artist and I happen to give my opinion on him to attempt to prove a point, but one of the girls decides to interrupt me mid-sentence and go off on me for my statement. Bothers me to no end.
