Unstill Life?

I kind of like it, I think I did an ok job. I did this in my art class at school in all together about a 2 hour work period. I sketched it in pencil first, then used charcoal to shade it in, and whatnot. No reference used.

they're both the same picture. one's just made smaller, and the other is original size ( the big one).

its a bee on a flower. btw, it good, I like it. I like how you used the charcoal too.

So, anything I can improve on? All I've gotten was to add mored details, and that was from Tention, who didn't even post in this thread.

use references to get an idea of how things like shading and light often appears and how shapes look in the nature.

if youre doing digital stuff, use the mirror tool to flip it,

if youre doing analog stuff, use a MIRROR (how creative) and hold your picture in front of it. thats the way you notice a lot of faults in your artworks, because your eye forms a habit of what you draw and you dont notice big flaws anymore.

ok thanks. ill try to check for flaws with the mirror method next time i guess.
