If you create, or created a tutorial that is determined to be unhelpful, then it will be/has been moved to the trash can.

What is deemed "unhelpful"? Zed will elucidate. This is an example of an unhelpful tutorial:

Quote from mobias parkour
step.1 draw the art from scratch by using any black brush color
step.2 color what youve drawn
step.3 turn your colors into gradient colors

or check out the video posted in youtube!

And now Zed will explain why:

Quote from Zed
"Let me teach you how to draw. You see, the trick is to draw."

It doesn't really teach anyone. It's just a video of you drawing something. This is what an art tutorial should look like. Or this. Or even this. A tutorial needs to do more than just show. Any animation or drawing can show. A tutorial needs to explain.

This goes for the rest of you too. Stop making these shitty YouTube "tutorials" which are just recordings of you animating. Aside from the lack of explanation, YouTube is a terrible medium for a tutorial because it means the viewer can't go through at his own pace or spend time on the bits he actually needs. And it's lazy.

I'm venting a lot of frustration in your thread so I hope you don't take it too personally. It's great to see you trying to help out and make tutorials, but it'll be even better if you can make them really good tutorials.
