Some new and fun weekly activities blasting through Stickpage. I thought we needed to spruce things up around here. Thinking back, people always loved things like 4-day and game tournaments, so why not do it on a weekly basis? Each week we will now be hosting 'Friday Funk.'

What is Friday Funk?
Friday Funk is a multitude of site events all occurring at the same time for various aspects of the site. We have an animation exercise to sharpen your skills. A "pass the canvas" art file that everyone can join in on. Drawing up your piece on the canvas and watching as the art evolves from user to user until the end of the day. Or you can join in on the LoL and Stick Empire tournaments where prizes are awarded to top players.

All of this is just to strengthen our community and overall just have a good time doing the things we love here at stickpage. What more could we ask for? Tune in and help keep this place active and lively as Friday Funk grows ( and gets fine tuned:P ) as the weeks go by!

On a side note, I'd really like to thank and personally welcome our new crew who has been doing a fantastic job!

Good...how would u keep game tournaments in track?(if its a stupid question nvm)

I need you to be a bit more specific. Keep them in track meaning.... how do we do the bracketing and record the wins / losses?

I suppose he means how do you know who won which match, suff like that.

if there is going to b a Stick empires tournament and you need any help keeping score, hosting, or setting up, PM me.

We will have event coordinators in charge of record keeping and bracketing.

Aww....Well, it does take a while to write that sort of thing so, I can sort of see why people would be turned off by it.

Alright, I'll see who can get on hosting it and we'll get it up this Friday as well. I'm not much of a writer, so I'll look to you guys to see what would be most interesting and inspiring for a subject.
