to start with, speartons WERE never that good of a unit, i will admit but however the new update or patch concerning the archers and sword wrath are WAY OP and furtherly unpromotes spear ton massing, rushing or general use of spear tons :O anyways, what I've come to suggest is a buff for speartons, or perhaps a new ability, whatever, maybe 2 more bars of health?, an ability that negates rage and fire arrows? (not for albatross) but something that will bring the speartons back to the place they rightfully deserve, know what i mean? post constructive stuff and comments and such.

I still think they should shorten the build time of all the units and increase their speed. But that's just my opinion.

Speartons r still good, not like sword and archers beat speartons and albas

by the way, i think they buffed too much. Swords didn't need a buff, they were strong in the first place. The archer buff could of been less, maybe 325?

the archer buff was beautifully perfect, i can now fit archers in my setup now :D as for swordwrath, i have no complaints or comments, but yeah good buffs

I'm going to explain spearton units the best I can right here.

Firstly, they are probably the MOST important unit in any build or army. Ever wonder why there's so many cosmetics for them? Because every good build requires tanks and units that can deliver pressure.

Firstly, speartons have always been viable no matter what update. They are a ground unit to be reckoned with. They are able to chase the lower tier units and in packs can produce quick damage flashes forcing a retreat. They can be used as a tank for archidons and wizards. They're good for going through castle archer defenses, as they can withstand a lot of damage. They are both the best at both being offensive and defensive.

When attacking with speartons, you don't have a lot to worry about except for what's above you and looking out for those magikill spells behind walls. I like to let the speartons "play" while I give my attention to units in need of serious micro, like ninjas/magikill or weaker units I'm using with some sort of purpose. When it's time to defend, the speartons should always be in the front to take what's coming at them. Spearton walls help for kiting. Bash to keep other units coming through.

And, above all, never ever ever EVER underestimate the power of a spearton rush.

Wyzdm, thats true. Speartons are VERY vital towards all strategy/build. They dont even need much micro. If you do all swords; magikill could kill them in 1 blast. All giants? Spearton rush. Spearton mass? Thats hard, but counterable.

Well, if you want to talk about disparity. how about my 50 giants vs your 10 swords and 3 albows. Winzor!

Every unit has a weakness. If he adds one magikill and a meric for good measure, then your swords and albows are in trouble. Then you have to add a ninja....etc...etc...etc...
