i am sorry to say that i need to postpone this collab for a while, since i do have more important things to attend to (exams etc) i will still be accepting parts and such, but i wont be able to compile or actually present it any time soon. Hello stickpage, George is here to bring you a collab which i believe could become quite successful!
This collab, is, as you clever people may have guessed, about surviving.
what you have to do, is animate your character (made up or RHG, your choice) trying to get past some of the gaps and jumps that I've made. You don't have to finish the course, you could animate your character falling into the acid, or spikes etc so that he dies instead.
SPECS:
- Program: please use flash 8, i can't accept anything higher that that
- FPS: 24
- Dimensions: width=1000 height=600 (dimensions are in the template already)
- parts have to last at least 5 seconds (120 frames)
- you can make your stick any colour you want
- sounds aren't mandatory, but are allowed
DUE DATE: 25th MAY 2013 (i changed it AGAIN because of my upcoming GCSE's. sorry guys :()
RELEASE DATE: A few days after that :3
RULES:

If you have any questions about this collab, then please ask by posting here, or by going on #survival on IRC to ask me. i will post up your questions here and the answers to them so that i don't get asked the same questions again and again.
1. How many parts are we allowed to make?
- Multiple parts are welcome
2. Are we allowed to make a joint?
- Joints are accepted
3. Do we have to get to the end?
- If you don't want to finish the course, then you don't have to, you could make your character end up falling in the acid, spikes or down the bottomless pit instead
4. What colour does my person have to be?
- It can be any colour you like
5. Can i have more than one stick in the animation?
- Yeah sure! the more the merrier :)
6. How tall/short can my stick be?
- If you go onto the template, press ctrl + alt + B, and then hover over the first ? mark, it'll show you.
7. When are you on IRC?
- I am usually on at around 5pm - 6pm, and then about 6.30/7pm - 10.30/11pm
8. what is the IRC channel for this collab
- #survival is the channel
9. Where do i put my name?
- It tells you on the thread, in the top right corner of the canvas.
10. What do i do if i have flash CS3 or higher, can i join?
- Only if you convert the animation so that i can open it up on flash 8
11. Can i use angles?
- No, there will be no angles
12. Can I use a V-cam?
- No, there will be no V-cams
13. What is that green stuff near the start of the template?
- The green stuff is acid at the start, there is no surviving there if you fall in
14. what do those '?' mark things do, and how do i use them?
- Those '?' are "TIPS'. If you hold Ctrl + Alt + B, it allows you to hover your mouse over them to see the tips.
15. Do we have to use sounds?
- You don't have to, but it would make your animation a whole lot better
16. How much time do we have to make this animation?
- If you look near the middle of the thread, it has a spoiler with a link in it called 'timer'. Click the link and it will show you a timer of how much longer you have to animate
17. What colour is the background going to be?
- The background will be white
18. Are we allowed to teleport?
- No, that kinda defeats the purpose of this collab :|
19. Can i add bloodstains to the wall, or does the blood have to fall to the ground?
- you can do whatever you want with the blood
20. Can our stickfigure(s) have powers?
- yes, as long as it isn't teleporting, flying, or anything that would make this course easier than it is
