So I was playing some MineZ (which is basically DayZ for Minecraft if you're unsure of what it is) the other day, and was like,
"I wonder what it'd look like if I drew some MineZ inspired fan-art?"

So here it is. I was messing around with Photoshop for once, which I rarely ever touch, and cracked this out. Took almost all yesterday afternoon, haha.

This is basically my first finished drawing in Photoshop.

I'm not too big a fan of whatever possessed you to make the shading like that, and the line-art is kind of amateur to say the least.
His face seems to be trailing off to the left while his head faces to the right, so not sure what's going on there.
It's a pretty decent asymmetrical composition over all; the flint and steel along with the forest and wood house hint something devious is about to happen pretty clearly, so you got your message across.
Keep practicing.

It looked like you wanted to keep the boxy feeling of his head and arms, but then changed your mind and added huge curves to them. So his face now looks squareishly chubby. The shading is....weird. And his hair looks like a soggy spiked sponge was dropped on his head. Keep practicing and you will improve. I am terrible at photoshop so this isn't too bad I suppose. Good luck :)
