CnC (DO NOT TAKE THIS PERSONALLY):
The drawing, overall, is mediocre. Too simple, undetailed.
The cape connects badly with his back, it just looks like a piece of cloth was chucked into the background instead of actually coming from his back.
The effects, you just drew them in randomly and blurred them. We can't understand much on what those effects are supposed to imply.
The hair is the same with what I've said already.

Take this and learn from it. When you make another piece, start small, subtle, like a standing pose, work your way up from there, I've seen your anims, and they are good. Just put more time and effort into your artwork and I'm sure they'll be good.
