I know, some of my old replays look exactly like that, if not worse :P
I would say try to attack early on more, get more information on what the enemy is doing, and build a balanced army. Massing is almost never a good idea unless you're certain of your opponent's strategy, and even then it's risky.

massing is kind of easy, though, just one unit, but there could be problems.

Just saw the second replay you uploaded to that Google Sites page. O.O You got quite overwhelmed there...
But anyway, the reason why is that you started with 4 swords, and the other guy started with 2 swords 1 miner. As I said, that queue time was wasted, and his economy surpassed yours, allowing him to mass swords faster.

I was gonna do 2 miners and 1/2 swords(whichever i could do) but i ended up all miners and easily overwhelmed the enemy.

yeah, but they don't just let anybody post strategies willy-nilly like here.

oh and me and jli (or maybe just me) are working on what builds counter other builds, but just the basics, so you can figure out combos later.

Alright. I can help you out if needed, I'm pretty good at countering strategies, but I'm not online often.
