I'm gonna get Half-Life for the PC, but I'm not sure if I should get Half-Life or Half-Life: Source. They're the same price on Steam, and I can run both on my PC.

The first or the second?
Get Halflife anyways, probally less source interference.

The first one obviously. There isn't a non-Source version of Half-Life 2.
And what the **** are you talking about "Source interference"?

Standard source downloaders ect. I dont know, I think I read his post wrong.
And if you know how to play your cards right, there are a few Non - Source versions of Halflife 2 around the internet.

And why the hell would you want those?
I started replaying Source last night, actually. I think HL:Source is just HL with updated graphics and engine.

You're thinking STEAM you dumbass. Source is the game engine, Steam is the download program.

I am sorry if I misread, I go through a lot of names and the like to do with things with games and movies, and they can get mixed up, also, no need to resort to bad words.

Calling him a dumbass was relevant?
He was only trying to help.
I had both, Just go for Source for the sake of it.
What Guest said, that's the only thing I really know the difference of.

No hard feelings taken, I entirely understand.

They're pretty similar but Source obviously runs on the source engine and looks a very tad nicer. I'd get source.
