I still kinda sucks in animating, and doesnt have a tablet. Will you please give me some tips in animating?:)

ever read the book Animators Survival Kit?

*edit: when I'm in school, I just animate with my trackpad
*edit2: try recreating some of the better works or at least go through them frame by frame
