Anyways I'm redoing this thread because I wrote my question wrong :P.
So I've noticed that people use different tools to animate stickfigures, For instance: Terkoiz uses lines and hyun uses brush,
But what do you use?
Lol :P, But which tool do you prefer mostly?Quote from SharpI use
everything.
Quote from Alt F4Lol :P, But which tool do you prefer mostly?
Quote from SharpI use everything.
Line for angles,
Brush and Line for sticks,
Pencil for fucking around
Oh, now i see :D! In my future animations I'll try to use both and see which would work. Anyways thanks for the advice :DQuote from JomboI use whatever I need at the time. I prefer different tools for different things but I don't limit myself to one tool. That's retarded.
Also Terkoiz has used both line and brush in the past. Hyun probably has too. They don't limit themselves.
Quote from DigitalFlamer105Brush. So far the only use of the line too for me is for the ground when I practice animating... :/
Quote from TamenI generally use the brush tool. But for something close up that only needs a small tweak per frame I'll use line for the sake of it looking cleaner, I've never really tried pencil, maybe I should try it out soon.
I also agree to this, The brush tool seems to look rushed to me too and the line tool seems cleaner; But it does take longer :( And as for the pencil tool, It is not very known. I think more people need to at least try it.Quote from Droneyou should interchange between tools depending on what you need to do.
some tools are much better for some things than others, and you have to figure that out and use them appropriately.
I, tbh, much prefer using line tool for serious, unrushed animating because i feel like theres a certain degree of professionalism in the look that brush cant give.
as for pencil, it can really do it all (except for pressure obviously) so it can be used whenever you're in the mood
