Something about that article seemed somehow unprofessional.

Don't get me wrong, I am entirely in support of net neutrality, but I think this is the kind of story that may have gotten overhyped. How about we wait for some more information before freaking out over the impending internet apocalypse.

Not going to happen, internet providers would lose to many customers who just don't want to deal with it. The internet is meant to be public controlled and run. by putting a "government" for lack of a better term onto it will just infuriate people and make them just quit the internet all together. Besides, theres so much work involved in doing it that theres no way they would be able to do it by 2012.

The model they have on the bottom is obviously fake. Google would be very defunct if the internet instantly went away in 2012. What would people have to search for?

I didn't call you a newfag, I just said that newfags, (new members) can't have capitalized names, weather it's their first account or not. I wasn't aiming directly at you.

I currently pay 9 dollars for internet. If I had to pay 30 dollars I would probably not have internet at all anymore. But this will never happen. If they do succeed through who knows what special power there will be a huge war against them and they would probably all get killed by the angry users of internet who don't want to pay that much for internet. Internet is that way of communication that creates friendship between people from separate countries. They'd be stupid to make it that expensive. It would be like stopping communication and starting isolation. gee what retard people. When I see them being like that it just makes me wanna kill them
