That....was weird. I wonder why someone would try to think that up? Its a damn fps game that has blood, shooting, and mental illness. Its definitely not perverted in any way.

How did you get anything about perversion from any of that? It was discussing the game's symbolic use of unconventional gaming elements in order to subtly create a more feminist approach. I don't see anywhere where it talked about anything related about sexual arousal to Portal.

Anyway, that was good to know. But, for me, it's like those analysis assignments we always have to do in English whenever we read a book. Once you know all that, it's cool to see how that factors into it, but it's really the last thing on your mind when you're playing it.
