Now this is a site called Death Clock
It is a site that tells you how long you have "to live"
I went to the site and it said on January 1, 2088 I will die. I don't fully believe this, but if this is the date, it's a bit depressing. I die before I become 60. Though its a while away, to "know" I will soon die makes me realize again life is not forever. How would/does knowing when you die make you feel?

REMEMBER: Obviously, this is probably not accurate, but think of it as if this date is FACT. Imagine it is the date you will die, what does it make you think?

EDIT: Actually, i mixed pessimistic with optimistic, with optimism i'm January 1, 2088

I have always been afraid of death. I really don't like to think about it, but when I do, I get shaken up pretty bad.
I guess its just because I am afraid of what happens next, or what will really be the cause of my death. Time is short. I want to live it to the fullest, but I don't think it is really possible.

It says that I will die Tuesday, November 30, 2055.

I shudder at this thought, how short life could really be. I could only have 1,345,498,819 seconds more to live.

Sorry guys for being so emotional, but I just want to show how i feel.

Friday, September 2045. Simply by becoming more optimistic I can add 30 additional years to my life.

(THIS MAY UPSET YOU, BE WARNED)

I understand how you feel. Lots of people use religion to make death pleasant, that they'll go to a better place. But what if, it's just the end. I broke my hand, i know it because after it happened I felt the pain and can remember. But if you fall off a sky scraper and hit the ground, did it happen? Did you live? Do you know you died? You can't remember that you used to be alive, because you don't think at all. You could be dead right now and not know it. Because once we're gone that's game over. Where are you?

Its not pleasant to think of death that way, as a end to your life, that you'll never remember you lived. So think of it, at any moment, you may die, how do you know, maybe you are born in a new baby the same time you die, but you don't know, you are just in another body completely erased memory. Its not any more pleasant, because you may think "I'm going to live again" But you won't know you live again, so its the same as dying and never knowing it happened. I fear life, because I never know if i'm alive... Thinking of becoming a spirit is a bit better because you get the memory and the feeling of being alive while dead, because you keep your concience... and if you go to heaven, that gives you peace, you know if you die, you'll live again in a greater place, where anything you imagine will happen, which lets you live life peacefully. But what if you go to hell, and burn for eternity, you'll live another life, but will be in agonizing pain and emotion forever, which is unimaginable. Eternity will never end, so you will suffer, and suffer, and suffer. See, death can be as bad as life. If I had the choice to live a life, i'm not sure i'd take it, because all i know is I'm on a countdown to doom.

Some think "I'll be asleep dreaming" But if your brain is gone, are you dreaming? You're done. No one who is dead right now knows it, they are just gone... Imagine a slow painful death. Will you know it? During you'll be aware "AAAH THE PAIN OWW NOOO" but once your body gives in and dies, did it happen? How do you know? How do you prove "i died" when you don't even know you're dead. Do you forever feel the pain of dying, do you just black out? Does it cut off like a light switch? If that's the case how do you know? Your dying then death, you don't know it turned off, but it did, you don't recall because YOU DON'T KNOW. I wish I was more religious so i could be "certain" of a peaceful afterlife in heaven, so I won't fear death. Or regret life. This doesn't make me suicidal, i don't want to die, its not a way out, because you don't know what you're escaping. But life is just as bad now that you know that once your life timer goes out that's it...

Sorry if this depresses you, but i'm quite the realist, and think that when i die, game over; I wont see, hear, feel, know anything... Nothing... just nothing, you cant imagine nothing... it's just.... nothing.

It says I'm going to die in Monday, May 1, 2084. When I will be 84 years old. I never have been scared of death. Because I am not mortal.

Actually, this is exactly how I think and feel. I know I shouldn't, but I just do. I always imagine myself one day walking somewhere and then suddenly learning how to talk. I would never know what happened. I don't even know whats possible! I could just die and never have life again, or maybe have life and never die again. Who knows? Its impossible to imagine, being dead, but every time I do I come up with what you are saying.

It's just like Scarecrow said, Fear of death is fear of life.

Oh fuck me. One fucking day before my birthday. :( And Pin, I couldn't have said it better myself. That's pretty 99.99999% like how I think most of the time. I'm not afraid per se but I sure as hell want to keep a tape recording of my whole life through my eyes. I how that shit's available in the future.
