Quote from ZedThings generally work out if you don't worry about them too much. I guess that makes me an optimist.
Incidentally, has anyone ever heard someone refer to a glass as "half empty"? The default state of a glass is empty so if you're describing the contents it's natural to talk about the unexpected extra that's there, rather than how much potential the glass has for containing even more. I know no one brought this up yet but it's something which has bothered me for ages.

Quote from Scarecrowi tend to think of it terms of which direction the amount of liquid has been going. if the glass was in the process of being filled, it is half full. if it was in the process of being emptied, it is half empty.
