A little something I whipped up to practice my parkour movements and smoothness. Still trying to master the wall jump.

If you people do not already know, 'Unrust' is the name I give my practice animations.

Lol at the end. Anyway. I think the run looks kinda reiterative. Try to make it look with more steps hopefully it will make the run loop look better.

He seems so stiff, you need to give him more life, you need to show at least some tension in his movements,
perhaps difficult ones.
Basically, experiment more with weird movements, any movements that abide the laws of physics.
Still I like though, it's quite smooth and it has no jerky movements.
I can tell you'll become a very admired animator, in like 5 months or so lol, so keep practising son and get on Xero's LEVEL!! :P

Thanks a lot!
Yes, I'm still stuck to making basic movements. What 'weird' movements do you recommend?

Just random movements like flips and triple kicks, rolling around, um you know a lot of flailing, more in that general area..

There should be a little more up-and-down head movement on the running part. It looks robotic as it is.

Dude there was no sound effects and at the end it scared the living hell out of me. Good animation anyway.

Nice and smooth, but just one thing. Your running style looks a WAY to relaxed, like it doesn't even look like the stick is trying to go fast. Other than that, it was a good animation

I disliked the run, it was actually really bad.
Overall your animation was smooth which is good but the movements were blegh. The wall jump should have been quicker considering the weight of the figure should have been effected by gravity.
I'm also pretty sure this isn't your ninth animation to unrust. Rust hardly even exists all rust is is the inability to animate as quickly as you used to be able to. Animation is knowledge based and requires attention to detail so in reality being rusty means it should take you longer to make an animation at your skill level. So I'm calling bull shit on this being your ninth unrusting animation. Even if it is a 'practice' animation it isn't a form of rusting and truth be told you should do something more than practice at your skill level. Animate something that's a good 20 seconds if not more with effects and the works that way we can actually try to help you with something.

If you're trying to unrust, actually animate a full run. Copy pasting frames over to make a run cycle doesn't involve that much effort.
