Honestly. This is very boring to me.
Stop centering. Centering is a very novice, uncreative method of photography. Try aligning with the sides, top, or bottom, it is so much more interesting to look at, and a lot more creative. One other thing you should try to do is take the photo at many different angles. Don't just take it from the side or top. Take it from an unexpexted angle, it adds a lot more character. Don't be afraid of experimentation! Get to know things like ISO, shutter speed, depth of field, exposure and then th different combinations.

I agree with Erin. It's a beautiful flower, but very noobish.
The colors don't seem to correspond too well and they don't complement each other. Another thing is, on a piece like this, don't center it. Find an angle where you get a nice background, and put it to one of the sides. i have a photo somewhat like this one I took when hiking Enchanted Rock in Wimberley Texas. I'll see if I can find it nd show you what I mean.
The concept was pretty nice, but the actual photo takes away from the eyes a bit... Keep working at it
