Indeed, it does look really nice! A few things to help you out: His cross is way too flat, most objects, even when faced head on, will have a little bit of 3D ness to them. Based on his shoulders, his legs should be at a different angle as well, it would probably look better if the right leg (his left) was shifted down and to the left a bit. Other than that, it is a very nice sketch.
