Hey guys just to clear things up for you. The Dojo is not going to be a stickfigure based community, but rather a flash animation community that welcomes all forms of animation like fullbody, sprites, stickfigures, etc. It's NOT going to be a private place where all the elite animators go. It will be a 100% community-run website with a forum, personalized profiles (like facebook), a portal to watch community animations, and a lot more. People are saying it's going to be the next Fluidanims, and that is wrong. A more accurate way to describe it is more along the lines of a new Facebook/Newgrounds/Youtube. YES it will have a large number of stick animators (because I'll still personally animate sticks), but it will also cater just as equally to other forms of animations as well. MY main goal is to have a place that will magnify the community's animation skills and creativity, not to hold it down because of money/business/politics. I've already pumped almost my entire life savings to get this whole thing started and for it to be the best place for animations / animators today. It wont be "just another website" it will be THE website to go to for all aspiring flash animators.

edit: Also public beta release will be sometime later this May so look forward to it!

The Dojo sounds great (Why do I have the feeling when the Dojo come out some of the animators of Sp will join The Dojo and dump Sp) just a feeling ^ ^

It's for those who want to further the skill set in general, not just stickman animation.
I will not leave SP though, It's my place of birth as an animator. I will take to dojo because I want to further myself in the art of full body animations and to be of a more professional standard.

Well to me, the dojo seems to be the upgraded version of FA, but not a pure stickfigure animation site

so, this means no pivot animators, right? Just flash animators..
